Bangladesh Association of Startup Hub (BASH)
The following Terms and Conditions govern the membership, activities, and participation in the Bangladesh Association of Startup Hub (BASH). By becoming a member or engaging with BASH, you agree to comply with these terms:
1. Membership Eligibility
1.1. Membership is open to individuals, startups, and organizations that align with BASH’s mission to support and develop the startup ecosystem in Bangladesh.
1.2. Applicants must meet specific membership criteria, including the submission of required documents and adherence to BASH policies.
1.3. Membership categories include but are not limited to:
- Startup Members
- Affiliate Members
- Corporate Members
2. Membership Obligations
2.1. Members must uphold the values, mission, and vision of BASH.
2.2. Members are required to actively participate in events, discussions, and other activities organized by BASH.
2.3. Membership fees (if applicable) must be paid in a timely manner to maintain active status.
3. Code of Conduct
3.1. Members must conduct themselves professionally and ethically during all interactions under BASH’s banner.
3.2. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or misconduct will result in immediate review and potential suspension or termination of membership.
3.3. Members must not use BASH resources, branding, or affiliations for personal or commercial gain without prior approval.
4. Data Usage and Privacy
4.1. Members agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information upon joining BASH.
4.2. BASH respects members’ privacy and ensures that personal data will be handled in compliance with applicable laws and only for organizational purposes.
4.3. Members consent to BASH using their names, logos, or contributions for promotional purposes with appropriate acknowledgment.
5. Events and Activities
5.1. BASH organizes events, workshops, and meetings for the benefit of its members and the startup community.
5.2. Participation in events is voluntary but members are encouraged to engage actively.
5.3. Event-related fees (if any) are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by BASH.
6. Termination of Membership
6.1. Membership may be terminated voluntarily by the member by submitting written notice.
6.2. BASH reserves the right to terminate membership for violations of these terms, unethical behavior, or actions detrimental to the organization.
6.3. Upon termination, members must cease using BASH branding and resources immediately.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1. All materials, logos, and intellectual property of BASH are protected and may not be reproduced or distributed without prior consent.
7.2. Contributions made by members to BASH (e.g., ideas, content, or designs) may be used for organizational purposes, with proper credit where applicable.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
8.1. BASH does not guarantee financial, business, or other benefits as a result of membership.
8.2. BASH is not liable for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from interactions between members or third parties.
9. Amendments to Terms & Conditions
9.1. BASH reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions as necessary.
9.2. Members will be notified of any changes and continued participation will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing Law
10.1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh.
